This award winning online experience was created as a way for prospects to connect with the Mural brand through an engaging, playful, and memorable experience. Users respond to a series of questions, and upon completion, are presented with their meeting persona identity which maps back to the answers they provided.

🏆 WEB EXCELLENCE AWARD: BEST MICROSITE UX in ADVERTISING & MARKETING (S5)

From the user perspective - this online quiz asks a variety of questions related to time-management, organization, and meeting preparedness. When completed, participants are presented with their own unique meeting persona, their dream meeting line-up, and two free mural templates that complement their persona, which can be used during their next team meeting to better facilitate and guide the discussion.

From the business side - the microsite is a powerful marketing tool that collects user data, promotes features/templates, and gives direct entrance to the product.

This no-scrolling web experience is meant to be as simple to use as it is fun. We lean heavily into animation to across the end to end experience, with nearly every illustrative element throughout the quiz having a subtle animated effect, as well as the web preview images and downloadable assets upon quiz completion. Pay close attention to catch all of the mini-moments of delight we sprinkled in, like the sneaky worm and cute lil 'chattering teeth' progress bar 😁.

And with such a fun, quirky visual theme, we made sure to have our copywriting match that energy. We kept the tone light, cheeky, and conversational (🚫 business jargon).

Once the quiz is completed, the user's newly discovered meeting persona is revealed. This profile page showcases their meeting persona and description, key strengths of that persona type, mural features & templates that map back to their persona type, and specifies which personas optimally combine with theirs to create a high powered team. They can also click-to-share the quiz with their colleagues to find out which personas they fit/if they are the complimentary personas to the user.

Additionally, users receive an email with a profile kit that includes a PDF of the results page, a set of GIFs specific to each persona type to use within the Mural product, and a special Zoom video background with all the animated knick knacks seen throughout the quiz. These items allow the user to celebrate their persona type within their own teams (while also continuing to promote Mural).

Although the original Meeting Persona Quiz microsite is no longer available publicly, you can give this archived version a spin that has most of the bells & whistles - but sorry, no profile reveal 😭. When you get there, click the 'X' in the top right to close the WaybackMachine toolbar.
