Over the last ten years, I've worked at the intersection of brand building and business development, helping teams turn ideas into impact. Seven years of that journey took place inside a high-growth startup that evolved from (very) scrappy bootstrapping to unicorn status. When I joined, we were a 20-person team fresh out of IDEO's accelerator, still in the early stages of building our business infrastructure. By the time I left, we had raised $200 million, scaled past 1,000 employees, were serving many of the world’s largest enterprise customers, and achieved a valuation of over $2 billion.
That journey shaped everything about the way I work. I gained experience wearing just about every hat (brand, content, UI, growth, product marketing) and eventually founded the company's in-house creative team. I've always been a hands-on designer, and even as I stepped into leadership roles, I stayed close to the work: developing visual systems, launching campaigns, prototyping ideas, pushing pixels and shaping the brand across every touchpoint.
This breadth of experience taught me how to move fast, build trust, and deliver creative work that drives real outcomes, even when the road ahead is unclear. From developing brand systems to authoring thought leadership to creating viral content, I've done the messy, meaningful work of building design and storytelling functions from zero to one and beyond.
I'm at my best in collaborative environments where imagination meets urgency, where people take ownership, stay nimble, and rally around bold ideas. I believe in leading with clarity, collaborating with care, and overdelivering when it matters most.

Some milestones, moves, and moments that shaped me:
ALL DAY SOCIAL
In 2023, I joined forces with my wife @allie.eats to launch All Day Social, our social media marketing agency built around creativity, community, and performance. Together, we've grown a roster of standout clients and delivered high-performing work that drives real growth and engagement. While I'm now stepping back to pursue a new challenge, I'll continue to support from the sidelines as Allie leads the next chapter.

All Day Social: fueled by creativity, community, and a lot of great meals.
MURAL
Before All Day Social, I played a pivotal role at Mural for more than seven years, joining as an early employee and growing with the company as it evolved from scrappy startup to unicorn status. Along the way, I was instrumental in shaping Mural’s digital experiences and creative initiatives, eventually becoming founding member of the in-house creative team behind the Mural brand. I helped lead everything from digital campaigns to design strategy, supporting the company’s rapid expansion and brand development. This incredible journey sharpened my ability to lead, innovate, and scale creative in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

DESIGN MBA
In 2017, I earned my MBA in Design Strategy from California College of the Arts’ renowned DMBA program — an experience that challenged and reshaped how I approach creativity, business, and leadership. It became the launchpad for the second phase of my career in Silicon Valley, providing not just a strategic foundation, but a new way of thinking: balancing design excellence with business impact, creative ambition with real-world execution. That mindset continues to guide how I lead teams, shape brands, and bring ideas to life today.

COMM ARTS & NCAA LEADERSHIP
I also hold a B.A. in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where I captained the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer program and earned All-Conference honors. Leading a competitive team at that level taught me lessons that still shape my professional approach today — how to lead with trust, adapt under pressure, build momentum through collaboration, and stay resilient when the stakes are high. That foundation continues to fuel how I build and guide creative teams: balancing ambition with agility, pushing ideas forward while keeping collaboration at the core.

Honored to be featured as an inspiring alumni at my alma mater, UW-Green Bay.
