Mural Imagine was a 6-week online event series that brought together the world’s leading minds to foster discussion, encourage new perspectives, and help build a community of imagination workers—a community of people like you. Whether you were an expert in facilitation, design thinking, or agile methodologies, or simply committed to solving hard problems through visual thinking and collaboration, Mural Imagine provided a space to learn, understand, share, and grow.
Together, we explored that space and enabled people to see work differently.

Mural Imagine was a virtual event series bringing together the world's leading minds to discuss what matters most for successful visual thinking + collaboration during a time when the world just began shifting to remote work. It consisted of various live talks, workshops, and recorded sessions that attendees could watch on-demand.
My team was responsible for the event branding and web experience. We aimed to make Imagine feel fresh and engaging for our customers while maintaining the trust and reliability of the Mural ecosystem. The visual identity draws inspiration from the Mural brand at the time, incorporating elements from the product like the dotted grid, geometric shapes, sharp lines, and the Proxima Nova font family. To ensure consistency, we used a monochromatic theme for presenter images, as the headshots we collected varied widely in style due to being sourced from different companies. We developed the revolving window as the event's mascot, symbolizing imagination and the concept of seeing things differently (through a new lens). This light/dark tension between the two states of the window is reflected throughout the web experience.

We aimed to remove thrills and keep interactions and navigation simple for the web experience. The header navigation is clear and gives one-click access to each section. Every page includes sticky links to allow users to post the content to Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, or create a URL share link with just a single click. With a large number of recorded sessions in the content library, we ensured users could easily find their desired videos by making them searchable through keywords.
