The content marketing team approached my creative team with an idea for a downloadable eBook on collaboration. The content and resources they supplied were extremely rich and essentially all copy with a few charts. But they knew we could push the concept further—so my team was given the time and space to experiment. This type of freedom and trust is when we do our best work, and this project is another example of that. What started as a simple eBook transformed into a dynamic, feature-rich interactive Webflow landing page. Marketing and creative had a blast collaborating on it, with ideas continuously sparking new creative possibilities.

The final result was an engaging, animated, and interactive experience filled with easter eggs and unique ways to bring flat concepts to life. Our customers responded with praise for this fresh way to interact with generally dry materials - and the creative community also buzzed around the clever Webflow development/ interactions. (Shout out to our dev Alex Dram at Finsweet 🛠️)
Mapping out the original content provided by the marketing team. Very dense!
Collecting inspiration for web interactions.
As we got deeper into our research and planning, we soon realized we'd need resources beyond our team's current capabilities in order to pull off the magic we had our hearts set on - so we brought in the insanely talented illustrator Simo Liu and world class Webflow developer Alex Dram. I was honored to bring such talent into my creative team and had a blast managing these two throughout the project. Simo's illustration style leveraging geometric shapes and outlines fit perfectly for the layering we used in the web experience. It also gave us a vehicle to sprinkle mini easter eggs and moments of delight throughout.
Quickly clicking through the header nav to give a sneak peek (and no spoilers).
From the screen above, you can see there are several sections of content waiting to be explored. I purposefully did not showcase any of the micro-interactions here so you can browse the site yourself and encounter the interactions organically, as intended. With that, I'll leave you to it! Please go forth and explore the magical world of Collaboration That Works.
The original Collaboration That Works microsite is no longer publicly available. The version linked on this page is a clone. Nevertheless, enjoy the ride!
